Terms of service

When you pay $19 for MochiDim or $19 for MochiTranslate, you get a lifetime, non-transferable licenseto that product for personal, non-commercial reading. Licenses for the two products are separate — buying one doesn’t grant the other. “Lifetime” means as long as MochiPanel exists and the software still functions on whatever browser you’re using.

You can use a license on any number of browsers and computers that you personally own. Don’t share your key publicly or resell it — that’s the one obvious no-no.

MochiTranslate requires you to supply your own Google Gemini API key (the image-edit model). Translation calls go directly from your browser to Google; your usage there is governed by Google’s terms and pricing, not ours.

• Each product does what we say it does on its product page.
• Future updates to MochiDim and MochiTranslate are included in their respective licenses.
• If either product doesn’t work for you, you get a refund within 30 days, no forms.
• We won’t turn either product into a subscription. If we ever change pricing, existing license holders are grandfathered.

• Uptime guarantees.License validation depends on Polar.sh being up. If Polar has an outage, MochiDim falls back to a cached “valid” state for a grace period.
• Compatibility with every site.Reading sites change their markup all the time. We update MochiDim to keep up but can’t guarantee any specific site will always work.
• Eternal life.If MochiPanel as a studio shuts down, we’ll do our best to leave the software working without ongoing license checks, but we can’t guarantee it.

MochiDim and MochiTranslate are reading-comfort and reading-access tools. Don’t use them to:

• Bulk-download or scrape content from reading sites (they aren’t built for that, but please don’t try).
• Bypass the access controls of any paid platform.
• Reverse-engineer either product to strip the license check and redistribute it.
• Translate or republish copyrighted content commercially. MochiTranslate is for personal reading.

Outside of those, we’re not going to tell you what to read or where to read it. That’s between you and your manga.

30 days, no questions, no forms. Email hello@mochipanel.com from the address you used at checkout and we’ll refund the charge through Polar and revoke the license.

MochiDim and MochiTranslate are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, MochiPanel isn’t liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using the software, and we are not liable for the behavior, cost, or output of Google’s Gemini API that MochiTranslate calls with your own key. Our total liability is capped at what you paid us for the affected product ($19 for MochiDim, $19 for MochiTranslate — let’s keep expectations grounded).

If we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top. Material changes that affect your license get an email.
